Help Needed - Forum Has Gone Down...

Hi Guys,

I would certainly appreciate your help here.

I just tried to add a certain"Seasons" extra to my forum, and it has just gone off. all I can see is a plain white screen). :_|

I un-installed everything and put the two template "add on's" back to the way there were originally, but I still only see a white screen and no forum.

Can anyone help me to get my forum back on please?
I would appreciate it.

Many Thanks.

It must be just me that sees a white page - the reason being is that someone has just registered (I just received the confirmation e-mail of a new registered member).

Try clearing your browser cache or use another browser. If that doesn't have an effect you can take a look at the manual Blank or 'White' Pages it may help you.

Hello. I have tried to clear the cache, but it makes no difference.

It is the same on Internet explorer and Firefox. :(

When I google my forum and click on the link there, it is still the same.

However, If I manually add index.php then I can access the forum. But it was never like this before.

Hmm seems like a server setting. Look at your website in an FTP client for a file named .htaccess, if one exists temporarily remove it. Does it resolve the problem?

Unfortunately Not. :(

Job Done.

If you come across this....

just add DirectoryIndex to your .htaccess file (If you haven't got one - create one and add this to it) after the "DirectoryIndex" leave a space and add the position you want the user to go to. In my case - I have added index.php.

With help from vBulletin.com - I have done it. Thanks to you for your input too.

Merry Christmas.
