What would be interesting is to see under a user's profile, not what threads he has replied to, because that could be countless numbers, but instead what threads or discussions he/she has actually started.

Usually starting a thread typically means a user has a burning issue to raise, where as a reply can often be an unlrelated off the mark reponse.

Why not have a feature to list both,

1) View all posts which include replies
2) View only posts which start a thread.

This cannot be too hard to program either.
