White Space by log in name

HI all,
This is my first time posting into this forum, so here goes. I have everything done the way I like it (www.missouritalks.com) but, I am concerned about a white blank space by the log in name and the name of the forum. Take a look and you'll see what I am talking about. Any ideas on what to do with that? I really would either like it gone completely, OR changed with some sort of image. I don't exactly know how to get into that and change it, any help would be appreciated.

I don't see what you are talking about. Can you post an image with the area highlighted.

it's the white space directly above the Navbar. Hold on, I don't have any snapshot software on here, give me a min, and I will post it.

ok, so it's tan there. That's what I am talking about. It just looks like it needs something there. How do I edit that to add a picture for a background or something? But yeah, that's it.

what I would like to do here, is add a picture of a washed out Missouri Flag here. Any thoughts on how I might do that?

My eyes must be playing tricks on me...(it's been a long day), it looked white to me at first. But it's tan. :o

Looks yellow to me. :)

Anyway, that is in your navbar and is a table. You can add a background to it. Google "table background image" and you should get the code to add.
