Recent posts on a link?
 
ok i have a link menu on my forum home.. on the left side

whats the best way to show how many posts are in each section like that?

Example of a link i have:

Other Languages

but i want it to show like this

Other Languages (301)

this ( ) means how many posts in that section someone help me plz..

You'd have to do a query for each section to see how many posts there are. That can be server intensive. It could be that the information is already available in the datacache. I'm not good with that though, so I can only tell you to look for other code regarding that and see if you can copy it.
