LOTS of questions about starting Vbul...
Ok I have a whole all around general question
I was Admn of a board that uses Vbulletin, but she did all the server and back up type stuff. But she has since stepped down, and didn't hand that over, so I was thinking about (she gave the site (idea)to me, )which now if a free phpbb board) she no longer even has internet) Anyhow I want to purchase and make the site vbulletin again So can anyone walk me through it ALL? From what to do once I purchase it, to hosting, all of it, since I am so new at this? Anyone want to take a super noobie under thier wing?? |
I'd suggest looking at the manual (in my signature) and also doing a search on both here and vb.com about this topic because it has been brought up quite a few times. But, I'd start with the manual. There is also a forum over on vb.com for hosting discussion that you may find useful.

does it walk you throgh the my SQL and all that as well?? |
What about mySQL? When you lease a server, it should come with mySQL already installed.
