Google Analytics Code
 
Hi, I'm looking to get my forum indexed and tracked by google. Can someone tell me on which file I should put the google analytic tracking code? I'm wanting google to index all of the pages of my forum.

Google analytics is a tool for you to see who is coming to your site. It does not help the google spiders to index your site at all.

If you want to add google analytics, you can copy the code to the bottom of your footer template.

Avoid putting it into the header, as it may hang up the loading of the page. If it is in the footer, the page will load and if the script hangs, it will only hang when everything above has been loaded.
