** Require A Simple MOD **

Hi Friends..

Not to taek to much of everyone's time.
Could someone post me to the right direction, I require a mod that doesen't allow you to view attachments, unless you click the thankyou or post in the thread..

Lynne 12-10-2008 02:18 PM

search on "thank*" "all mods" "titles only" and you'll find one

mojo8850 12-10-2008 02:25 PM

Nope Nothing Found...

Lynne 12-10-2008 02:54 PM

That's weird, cuz when I do that exact search I get this - Can't See Attachments Before Thanking a Post

When I Type Thank Nothing But When I Type Thanking It Come's Up.. Wierd :)
Thanks For The Help, Is'nt There A Newer Mod To That 3.7.2 +

Lynne 12-11-2008 02:47 PM

That's why I suggested to use "thank*" as the search term (note the * which is a wildcard).

I have no idea if there is a later one, read the thread and see if users have commented about whether it works on later versions.

Sawa Dee SohL 12-11-2008 03:28 PM

What do you mean by wildcard? I've never used * in any search's...

Lynne 12-11-2008 03:47 PM

Say you want to search for something related to the Thank You mod. It could use the work "Thank" in the title, or maybe "Thanks" or "Thankyou" or "Thanking" or just "Thank", so if you put in "Thank" when you search, you will only get those with exactly "Thank" in the title. If you put in "Thank*", then it gives you all titles that have a word that *starts* with the word "Thank". So you get ones with "Thank" and "Thanks" and "Thankyou" and "Thanking".

Just like "sort". It could have "sort" in the title, or "sorts" or "sorting", so I put "sort*" into my search. A donate mod could have "donate" or "donation" or "donating", so I put "donat*" in for the search.
