Default Usergroup Help/Question

I just wiped out my whole site for a revamp and got a fresh site goin (yay) anyways before i start adding stuff i want to get the basic setup etc right now im working on the usergroups.

My question is:

(COPPA) Users Awaiting Moderation =<-- This group will be renamed to "Registered" and set as the "Default"

Unregistered / Not Logged In
Users Awaiting Email Confirmation

I will NOT use these 2 ^^ Can I somehow delete these?

Do NOT do this unless you want to screw things up on your board!!!! The default usergroups are hardcoded into the software for certain things. Unless you plan to go through all the code and change that, then you are going to screw up how things work.

Leave the default usergroups alone.

Just don't use them. I have all those usergroups, but a couple just sit there and don't get used.

Why don't you just set it so that users don't have to confirm their email addresses? Then you won't need to bother with the 'Users awaiting email confirmation' group?

And if delete the 'Unregistered/Not logged in' usergroup, what do you think would happen to people who just happen to browse over to your site that are unregistered?

Basically, deleting these usergroups sound like a bad idea.
