question about my license
 

my license expired months ago.. but im a designer and i need acess to vb.org to work on a site im administrator of... is there away i can have my vb.org account restored i can provide my customer number and password but its expired..

i wasn't going to renew my license till the first of the year but would still like to use my vb.org account

Have the administrator of the site enter your email as a user allowed under their license. All they have to do is login to the vb.com members area and enter it. It may take up to an hour before you see your status changed here.

so they can enter my email as a username allowed under there license and i can still use the username im using now?

In the members area, you may add up to three addition emails of people allowed to be attached to your license - so they should enter the email that you currently have attached to this account. Make sure it is this email though!

The instructions are the same for another person to add you to your license, so here you go:

To be able to download modifications and/or receive support here at vBulletin.org, we ask you to please click here (vB-Germany users click here, vB-Chinese users click here) and enter your email address. You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive.

To protect our customers privacy you will also need to Opt-In to license validation for all Support Sites. You must authorise vBulletin.org in order to validate your license status here. You can do this at the page linked above for your distributor. Make sure to set the permission to allow vBulletin.org to validate your status.

The update of your account can take up to one hour.
