Multi-player games on forum?

If you don't want to widget a game onto the forum, is it possible to Code it in? Not a hard RPG game or anything, just a Checker game so 2 people can play each other.

Would a game/program have to be created to work for VB, or can you get a game package from the internet, and alter the code to have it work? Not sure if this is possible, just finally got the guts to ask it.
