Where can I found a list of variables Values?

i'm searchin in the manual for a list of possible values of the variables like $post[] $bbuserinfo[] etc...

There is something?

I'm searching to find a varible with the number of post that are displaied in a page (i don't mean the user setting, but the post that are present in that thread)
