Child forums as list under category

Hello to all,

I am looking to see how to get my child forums to look as a list under my categories such as the admin zone site

http://www.theadminzone.com/forums/

If you notice they have main categories and the child forums are listed like lists under them. Is this a mod? Or something in vb that allows for this?
