What's Going On area

I've performed a search for "Affiliation" "All Mods " "Titles Only" and have not found any worthy information. I'm basically looking to add an affiliation area to the "What's Going On" area on my board. I want it to look something like the affiliation area on my other forum:

I don't want a marquee but something where it highlights the affiliation button when hovered.

The nice thing about this one is that it scrolls, so your not limited to x amount

Cool!! Thanks UKBusinessLive! This is exactly what I have been looking for. One question...how do I change the text that says "affiliation?" Also, how do I customize the image?

Not sure what you mean by "customize the image? " you just enter a clickable piece of html like the code below

I actually know how to do that...sorry for the misunderstanding. I was actually talking about this area (red bordered):

By default, the statistics image shows and I don't want to use that one for the affiliation. I want to make my own and use that one instead; I just don't know where to edit that.

Also, where it says "Affiliation" I want to change that to something else as well...something more customized to my board.

You don't need to have three threads all about the same thing. I've deleted your other two. Next time just bump one of your other threads instead of creating a new one.

I would have bumped it if I could. I tried that, but all it did was merge the two posts together because of the anti-double post script.

That happens if you post too soon after your first post - I think within 24 hours. If you read the General Site Rules, it says:

No "Bumping" (Your threads/posts): Please do not repeatedly bump your threads to try and get attention. Most members of the site are not online 24 hours a day and so will not see your post the instant it is made. Do not bump a thread within 24 hours, and not more than twice a week.

So, wait the required time before bumping it.

That's just it...I waited like 2 days for one of them and it still merged the two posts. That's the only reason I created a new topic.

Can we please get back on subject? I really need to figure out how to do this.

You need to look at the code that spits out the affiliate block. It looks like you installed a modification and so if you want to change the code in the modification then you need to ask for help in the modification thread.
