check vboptions > site name/url/etc stuff
and vbotpions > forum home page options > script name for forum home page

If you did something in your cpanel to set it so when users go to your site it defaults to the memberlist page, it is something you need to undo in your cpanel. You may be able to ask your host to do it for you.
