show profile pic in postbit etc
 

anyway to completely turn off the avatar, just have a profile pic and a thumbnail (smaller) version of the profile pic show up on the postbit?

is there already a mod like this for 3.8?

So far, I've not been able to find anything that makes the profile pic show up in the postibt. But a simpler solution might be to just turn off profile pics and use the avatar as the profile pic. Then use the stock avatar code to display it in place of the pic in their profile.

might be an idea, because the fact that the photo album, and the profile pic have nothing to do with one another, just makes the whole thing way too complicated, if there is even an avatar.

so how do i turn off the profile pic and have the avatar displayed in the profile?

only problem that comes with that, is that on my board a lot of profile pics would be pretty big, even gif animations, that's kind of bad to have that load on postbits, navbar, friendslist, etc.

You can control everything that has to do with the Avatar and Profile Pic, including dimensions, files sizes etc in your vBulletin Options.
