Help forming a preg_match statement?

I want to make a preg_match statement to find all instances of the BBCode :

but ive been striking out with this consistently, does anyone have any ideas on this, I know its probably something simple i'm overlooking.. :(

What do you want to do? If you want to find the contents of it - have a look at how vBulletin does it.
