Header color mismatch in Internet Explorer 7

In Internet Explorer 7, the right hand side of the top header has some sort of color mismatch. When we look at the .png files in Photoshop, they all use the exact same colors.

And when we view this forum in other browsers (i.e. Chrome, Safari or Firefox), the header colors all match correctly.

Does anyone know what might be causing this, or a simple fix?

IE7 does not render colors from PNG properly.
Save the header as JPG and change the background color accordingly.
