Way To Embed Videos From Own Site?
 

I have some videos i'd like to host on my website and play them on my forum like those YouTube embedder hacks.

Is there a way to do that?

I saw the bb code for wmv files around here somewhere

Im looking for the BB code for divx to do exactly as your trying to do. if they annser me, ill clue you in, hopefully they will answer someones so we can get it down

@Steve, the reason no ones answered is because there wasn't one on here, Now there is so enjoy :D

When you use the youtube embed links and etc, nothing pops up asking you to install kinda like the Windows media player, if they dont have the latest version or codec, they cant watch it.....newbs dont know what to do other than exit.

So what can we use to embed the videos just like youtube does?

then use[ youtube ] ( No Spaces, Im trying to show you the code without it trying to show a video.only video code here,, not the whole address, then[ /youtube ]

one small wrinkle with the divx playing, I get the player imbedded into my post, and I have the divx video in my main directory on my server, and yet it says video wont play because its been moved, and then another error says something about permissions, hmmmm any idears?
