hide usernames as guests?
 
is there anyway to hide usernames from guests ( well more importantly spiders )

would be great if guests looking at posts could see only the first 4 letters of the username etc.

just asking for user privacy.

If nobody else has an answer, you could always go into forum permissions and change permissions so that unregistered/not logged in users can't see the forums.

why not edit the postbit / postbit legacy, look for $userinfo[username] and replace with:
