external vb templated page has broken links and images
 

Hello,

I followed the technique in this article to make an external page:

I followed the directions to create an external page that is outside of my forums folder and found that there were some issues.

what i noticed was that some of the images like the down arrow on the vb popup menus were broken along with like the folder icon on the navbits.

Its also doing some weird spacing so I'm thinking maybe there are some css style sheets that aren't being loaded.

By moving the page into the /forums folder everything works, so .... given this... is there some more info on how to fix external pages?

I'm looking for just the header / footer and navbar on my external page... so if there is any other external page techniques I would be open to those as well.
