Lost My Bar!!

I am using the standard template that comes with VB.
The bar that says User CP, FAq, memberlist, calendar, new posts, search and quick links has disappeared.
AND the quick links and logout has shifted over to the left and sits above the bar that says Forum, last posts, threads posts and moderator.
I did not do a backup recently.
I changed the header html and it previewed ok, so I saved it.
Apparantly this is what messed it up.
Any ides on how to get that bar back visible?? IT's very important for navigation..
It is version 3.6.8, I haven't upgraded yet.
Thank you!

The navbar template is the template that contains the links you mention, unfortunately, we do not know what you have for a style on your site, if you ahve a custom skin/style, then the navbar links may of been in the header template, which a lot of skins do.

So either post a link to your site or a pic, so we can see it.

I would back up your style and then you can try to revert the navbar or header templates.

Well, it's just the default template that came with VB. I've only had it up a few months.

I'm sorry, can you explain this?
I see the "Revert" box at the side..

Ok..on edit..
I did revert it back...to the VB original header
and it returned...
Thanks

Your welcome.

admincp --> styles & templates --> download / upload styles --> download the style using the top box.

you might've deleted '$navbar' in the template, that little code right there determines whether to load the navbar or not

Thank everybody..I got it fixed.
I hit revert and it put the old template back.
Then, I reinstalled the new header code and it all appears to be fine.
Still dunno how that happened.
I did the same thing.
hmm..
oh well. :)
