If someone points a link to google.com, is it possible to automatically overwrite it to yahoo.com?

yes, use search and replace. It's in vB.

You could probably do this with replacement variables, although you'd better make sure you aren't using any reference to the word you want replaced anywhere else on the board, template, languages, etc...
