Pretty decent style, but I'd highly recommend removing the alt background images and replacing it with a very light (perhaps even white) solid background or something along those lines. I think that would completely the nice clean effect you seem to be going for.

Nice navigation, that worked well for you. I see you have quite a few forums, you may want to work on that (not always too good to start of with too many) but you can always play that one by ear.
