How the Spam Bots work
 

This evening i was checking out various sites to see what can be done to combat the ever increasing rise in the forum spam we seem to be getting lately and i was shocked to see a video of some spam bot actually being demonstrated. Apparently this particular one can read over 700 different captcha's so i can safely say that we seriously need to come up with an alternative. They are even usining this captcha reading technology to create hotmail and gmail accounts to use with their spamming :eek:

By viewing this video which i got from Panda Security, i hope that there may be some way we can prevent this from evolving further, they say, if we know how they work then a cure can be found, i hope thats true in this case.

yuh I do some gray marketing on my own & can't really control all the spam I get on my own forum...
