I am trying to locate the template for "conversations between userX and userY" (as in the picture below)

admincp --> vbulletin options --> general settings --> Add Template Name in HTML Comments

Set this to yes, navigate to that page, then right click the page and view the "page source", this will tell you what templates are being used on that page.
