Chat For vBulletin

Hello,

In the past I have install several Chats on my forum, but as soon as I install them, the forums starts getting slow, and once I remove it, the speeds goes back to normal.

My members are demanding a chat, and I think it will help a lot, which one would you recommend to use, that would work the best. I have the Latest stable version of vb install.

Also is there a mod that I can install that a certain time if will directly take the online members to the chat room, and not let them go to any part of the forum until the assigned time has pass.?

The least server-intensive would probably be an IRC chat, but that is not as "nice" as other ones.

There are chat rooms which you can link to that are hosted eslewhere, however most of these do charge a fee :( However they seem pretty fast in the demo's ;)

You need an IRC server/channel, and an IRC client (or web client). It's not really for anyone who doesn't exactly know what they're doing.

I know how to installed it but I having trouble getting the IRC channel. How do I setup one?
