How do I give rank titles?
Hi everyone. :)
On my old forum we had this system: A member would start with 0 posts and be given the rank title "New Pig on The Block". Then, when they hit 50 posts they would gain the rank title "Pig in Muck". And so on.... ;) I can't find anything that allows me to give ranks a specific title AND allow me to give them stars too (we have the stars in place, now I just need the rank titles). I would be very appreciative if anyone could point me in the right direction as my members love their rank titles and it would be a shame to lose them in the move. Thanks! :) |
What are you using to put the stars in place? Are you using the actual Rank system? Have you tried stacking the ranks?

Stacking the ranks? I think I know what you mean but I'm rather tired right now, so if you could explain it to me, that would be great! :o
(and thanks for replying to all my silly questions) |
When you create a rank, there is an option to 'stack' them or be able to have more than one rank show. You may want to look in the manual - User Ranks
|
Im currently not stacking ranks, and I've just added an extra star with each image. It's not the stars that concern me, it's giving a text rank at the same time that I can't seem to do, but I suppose I could just incorporate that into the image for each rank. :)
