Paid mod request
 

Hello,

I would like to see some features added to the paid modification requests section and I think it would help,well actually currently I came up only with one.The creator of the thread can set the thread status (extra thread option) to filled if somebody filled the request,and then a small icon would appear next to the thread on forumdisplay.

This should better determine whether the request is still open

I'm assuming that this could be done (when vb.org upgrade) that they can easily implement this by creating a text prefixe which were introduced in the 3.7 line.

I think it's a good idea. Like Shelley suggested, it could easily be implemented when this site is upgraded and then prefixes can be enabled in that forum. However, then the task is to get the OP to use them. :)

To make vB.org a 'democracy' we need to inject more resources, create more hierarchy levels, re structure the concept and re-enact the mission...

I saw Admins/Mods limited for budget or willingness to fall under users' 'shiny-ideas' :(

something like the actual "downloaded/installed" tweak so the author can simply dbl-click the text active/closed/answered status... THIS would be a simple implementation... people hate to edit their post to change the prefix... most people would not do it anyway...

You can start some Elections if you want, propose your schedule, your structure of a new government on vb.org.. ;)

Is iogames feeling a little skeptical today? I think it is a good idea josh... perhaps if you embrace the idea the good staff will also embrace it and go to the next level..... Implement it? yeah, i like the idea myself but then I like prefixes much the same way the man on the farms loves his pigs. anyway, good idea something to think about when we see 3.8.
