How do i alter this text?
I'm using a "thanks" system instead of the reputation and its loosely tied into the original reputation system. When someone thanks a post it shows up here as a new reputation comment and i want to alter the text so that it says something along the lines of "you have # new thanks.
Here is where i'm talking about: http://www.tehupload.com/uploads/541...epquestion.PNG |
It might be a phrase. You really should ask in the modification thread.
|
care to just move this thread to wherever it needs to be?
|
Just go post in the modification thread - you know which one that is better than I do.
|
lets assume for a minute that what i'm doing has nothing to do with the actual modification i'm tailoring it to.
What i'm asking is where in the database do i need to go to find that particular string of text. I'm assuming that its somewhere in the english language files but upon browsing that area last night i didn't find anything useful. |
I already took a guess at that - I guessed it was a phrase, so you would search in the phrases for it. But, I don't know for certain so I recommended asking in the modification thread.

its in phrasegroup_global as is everything else shown in that box.
Thanks for the help |
