0 Post Member Strategy
 

Hello, i have many members with 0 posts. I was wondering what ways or hacks folks use to get them posting? I was hoping to maybe shut off certain forums or even better certain threads to those that havent posted. Maybe thats a bit extreme and not good for search engines etc. does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on ways to get these non posters posting by aggressive or passive means?

There have been lurkers about as long as there have been forums, i get them as well the best bet would be to offer some incentive to get them to post, perhaps add an arcade and make it accessable to members that have at least x posts.

You could always email them and ask them to participate in a discussion or perhaps ask them how you could improve the forums??

They may just be shy :rolleyes: :o
