Show text or code to only specific IP address or US states?
Is this possible?
Maybe I'll have to break it out by town or county instead of state? I want to run a contest, but want to break it out by regions at first. So, let's say I live in Florida and only want to run said contest in FL right now. <if $live[florida]> </if> I KNOW it's not that simple... But just trying to get across what I want to do. I've been reading online about blocking countries, etc... But I don't see anything about states. I also know you can break down an IP for a location as I see those scamming ads do it all the time. They know the town I'm coming from... I just can't figure out how to use it for good. Grrrr. Anyone able to help a poor non-coder out? Thanks in advance!!!! Means a lot. --------------- Added [DATE]1224766513[/DATE] at [TIME]1224766513[/TIME] --------------- Anyone think they can point me in the right place to figure out how to do this on my own? |
