Hide links from other usergroups

Ok, so I've searched around for the whole day and can't seem to find anything.
Basically, I have a couple links in my forumhome, and I want to make it so that I can control who can see it based on their usergroup.

Code:

      <if condition="is_member_of($vbulletin->userinfo, 6)">

      <li><a href="/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=23">Trading</a></li>

      </if>

That is what I've found so far, and it didnt work.
I also found another one that didnt work.

Basically, I want a code that says (using PHP to give an example)..

Could someone please give me the code I'd use in the vBulletin template area?
