rss feed help?
 

i need help iv never messed with rrss feeds and want to have recent threads on a page, with polls. So what im trying todo is make my own homepage instead of useing CMPS anymore =)

Why do you need rss feeds for this? If you use the rss feeds to post the threads, you will not get only ones with polls. It's much easier to just query the database for the threads if that's all you want - see this article for some help - Create "Latest Threads" Custom Page

i also want something like latest announcements, such as CMPS does, but i want it on a custom page

You may be able to just modify one of the modifications for adding announcements onto the forumhome or showthread pages (just search "announcement*" "all mods" "titles only")
