This should explain the problem and solution - Implementing CSRF Protection in modifications

imk 10-15-2008 08:03 PM

hmmmm ok so what can i do to stop this happening?

Lynne 10-15-2008 08:14 PM

If it were me, I'd add the template change line to your forms as recommended in the article. And, if you've added any ajax, do as suggested in the second post. Although actually, before I did either of those things, I'd look to see if all my modifications were up-to-date because a fix may have all ready been posted for it.

Look at all the templates on the page you are getting the error on. The have forms -
HTML Code:

<form action="whatever">
a bunch of stuff
</form>

You need to find those forms in your template and add the security token line that they talk about in the article.

--------------- Added [DATE]1224521488[/DATE] at [TIME]1224521488[/TIME] ---------------

ok weve narowed it down a little it doesnt happen when i log in with the default skin....so how do i sus on my new skin where the problem lies?

You look at each of your edited templates (they wiill be in red in the list) and hit View History and then Compare your template to the default Jelsoft one. The differences will be highlighted. Copy and Paste the needed securitytoken line into your template where it shows up in the default template.
