Mp3s In vBulletin
 

Hi,

I run a guitar forum and I'm having problems with mp3 attachments. Mp3s beyond a certain size cannot be uploaded.
I read somewhere that this is probably a server issue because of the file size, but what can I do about it?

Is there another solution for mp3s in vBulletin?

IIRC the two settings you should look at are
php_max_upload
and
php_upload _timeout

You need access to php.ini for that though. If you don't have it you might need to ask your hosts to do it.

And unfortunately I think any vBulletin Addon or solution will be governed by the same limits as it's all done as a PHP upload.

I was also told that many attachments slow down a forum, is that correct? If yes, is there a solution for this?
