How To Mask URL in Statusbar ?

How To Mask URL in postings ?
I want to mask the URL displayed on the Statusbar how can I do like that? Say.. I want to link the domain name http: //55.54.234.32/xxx/xxxx/index.htm
but I want to show the URL http: //www.xxx.com on the Statusbar instead of long version.

It could be also possible that i make a specific BBCode for this

Plase help me...
