changing online time
Is there a way to change the amount of time a loginm cookie exists without changing the thingy that shows users logged in?
In other words, I want to make the "users online" list so it is current for say the last 15 minutes. But, I don't want my users, after 15 minutes of inactvity, to have to login again b/c that's annoying as hell. I know in the admincp, "cookies and http headers", I can change the seconds, and that fixes "users logged in" but it makes them login again after that amount of seconds if I remember correctly, and I don't want that. I want to have the two things independent of one another. I would appreciate ideas or suggestions. Buster |
No, these are tied together.
But if your users tick the Remember Me box when they login, they should not have problems. |
