Hi all

Is it possible to make a link to my forum registration formula so that the registration form contains a certain user name in the " Referrer:" field?

For example I want it to say "Libbert" in the registration field to my forum when clicking on a link. Is that possible?

The situation is that I will be running an affiliation program to my forum. So to make it easy for other webmaster if would help if the webmaster automatically gets his user name in the "Referrer" field.

Yes, but he wants it so its referrid=USERNAME rather than usernumber to his members have an easier time with it I suppose.

Ah ok, makes sense I suppose.
Although it would just be easier to use the user id and post a link in the User Control Panel with their referral link, that way, the username will show up in the referrer field upon registration

I will just adjust my setup. Not important. Main thing was to track where users are coming from.
