Reputation Questions - assistance needed.
 
I have a medium sized forum with 11,000 members and 200k posts.

I'm not happy with the way the reputation system is developing and wanted to change it so that every reputation award adds (positive) or takes (negative) 1 point from the users total.

Thats it.

I don't want rep power, posts, time on forum or anything else to have a bearing.

How would I do this?

Would changing the way they work affect the current reps? Will rebuilding the rep once i've changed the way rep is handled affect the stability of the site in anyway?
