Members can Modify their own Display Name
 

I run a Clan Tournament site and forums. I would like a Mod that enables them to modify their own login name so that they can include their clan tags or change their tags down the road. This is the main reason why alot of the Clan Based gaming community hasnt jumped to vB. The features are amazing but if someone could make a mod to do this I would appreciate it.

Well if you have A LOT of clan members.. and lots of name changes, it's going to be hard on the forums.

Also, can't you create a CLAN "name" field? That way they can change it fairly easily.

Such mod would be cool to have.
Only instead of login to display a name and a surname which the user could set through extra profile fields.

Create a custom profile field call it calm name

Edit your postbit or postbit_legacy template and remove the username code from that, and replace it with $post[fieldX] where X is the profile field number.

FRDS, it's works only in postbit.
And it is necessary for me everywhere...

What if you just create joinable usergroups for each clan on the site, and for the text markup simply put the clans name in the front, it will then show up
