Does this mod exist?

I've managed to add a left side column to the forum and I would like to display the latest threads and possibly the 5 with most replies in the past 7 days. Is there a mod which can do this?

Furthermore, can the users who quoted me be displayed somewhere, with a link to the post?

Do a search on "latest" "all mods" "titles only" and you'll get a ton of mods for latest threads, latest posts, latest blog entries, etc. Just modify one to put the content in your site column.
