Two in one forum. merger.
 
Actually, there are 2 project, both installed vbulletin 3.7.2 they have the same users, but not all. The task must be overeating, two forums in one while not losing any user not the topic. Help may be who are already doing so.

why not just use impex to merge the forum?

As mentioned, you can use ImpEx to merge forums.

The problem is that he loses some sections and leaving them without category. Just missing some messages ...

You should not lose anything in the process, if you are - please post in the ImpEx support forum over at vB.com - as they know it well.

Also, make sure you follow the manual's instructions completely.
