RSS doesn't work?

I tried to use this feed but it doesn't seem to be working!

Everything is working fine, but we do not provide feeds for all forums on vB.org.

Any way to get feeds for articles? Would be awesome :p

Nope, not at present, omly the modification forums and the announcements forum are enabled.

Logikos 09-27-2008 03:36 PM

Can we have that forum's RSS enabled?

Marco van Herwaarden 09-27-2008 04:35 PM

No we don't have any plans to change the forums available in our feeds.

Logikos 09-27-2008 07:14 PM

Is this a Jelsoft or .Org decision? I'm just trying to understand why you wouldn't want the feeds to be available. It make the sites a little more useful (at least for me) and helps with returning traffic.

Ken, I was thinking it would be useful also, but then I realized I was thinking it would be useful if the feed gave us posts, not threads. As it is, if the feed only spits out new threads, it's going to be a pretty slow feed.

It would still be useful to see the newest articles ;)

I'm mostly interested in new threads. When I post I'm automatically subscribed to it and I use the usercp to follow up on any new post. It would also be cool to get the private coders forum into a feed, but I don't think that is possible due to permissions. I noticed that the programming discussions and server management forums don't have feeds enabled either. Which sucks for me cause I'm not interested in any new hacks or the announcements posted. Looks like just the hacks and announcements forum provide a feed. Not very many options available to those who like RSS.

@loco, that would also be a nice one to have.
