Thread Splitter
 
I saw a mod for 3.7x once, but I cannot seem to find it again.

I am looking for something that will split my threads into a new post when it reaches a certain amount of replies. Eg. When my new post gets 1000 replies, it creates a new post for the next reply putting the first post from the original thread as post #1 and maybe putting a reference link back to the original post.

Ideas?

well, that one if for 3.6 but it may work on 3.7 :)

Yes, I have noticed. I tried it out. Although it does split the thread, it has other bugs that make it unusable.
