Add Polls on current thread
In my forum users can't create polls because it would become a mess.
So I wanted that my mod (and another group of users "team" that I have) could add a poll on specified threads but I realize that is not possible!! The only way for them is to create a new discussion and mix the 2 discussions! (something that only mods can do, and not the other group). Amazing that this not a default option in vb. Please it is difficult to add this funcionnality? Mod (or another group with permission) could modify the thread and simple choose "add a poll" ! |
Thread Tools -> Add a Poll to this Thread ;)

Maybe I dont know a particular setting....but I think this is amazing... |
I have just tested this with both a S.Mod and a regular Moderator account on 3.7.3 and both can add a poll to a thread. For the moderator i only changed his "Can Edit Poll" moderator permission and he can only do this in the forum he moderates.

really...in my moderator usergroup permissions under the Poll Permissions, i only have:
- Post Polls - Can Vote on Polls But no "Can edit polls" :( very weird!!! What can i do?? so weird... It always has been like this even before the upgrade to the last vb version 3.7.3pl1 |
You must set the Moderator Permissions, not the usergroup permissions:
AdminCP -> Forums & Moderators -> Show All Moderators -> Edit (Permissions) |
Thanks a lot!!! But I have to do it for each mod and for each forum they manage....so many changes...but it works!! Thanks...
Weird that can be modified in usergroup permissions Thanks |
