How to make images view as a link in certain forums

If you elaborate on where the images are, it might help. There are stacks of images within a forum...

umm, maybe go into your ACP, go to forum manager, Edit the forum you want to not allow images, and disable [img] BBcode for that forum.

I am pretty sure you could do some permissions for the different forums also.
