Problem with the post
 

Hello, some of you knows that i was hacked, and after that, i tocuh a lot of things in the forum, in orden to prevent this attack, but i broke many things..

One of them is when you try yo make a Post yo have this error:

1. The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.

But you write a long meesaage. the same if its in a profile or a picture. BUT if you go to another post it work welll.. its strange but it is not always the same.. some time you can post, other not and you have this errror..

Ideas?

Nobody.. is fuking strange?

It's hard to troubleshoot a forum when no information is really given. Did you restore and old database? Reupload all your old files? Go through and reinstall all your hacks?

The only one affected by this is my user, everyone else can post okey.

To troubleshoot this, please remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

If your problem still exists, please create a new Style with no Parent set. Now browse the forum using this new style, do you still have the same problems? If you are troubleshooting login or guest issues, you will need to set this style as board default in the vBulletin Options.

I disable the plugins and its the same. Now im re uploading all the files. The things that call my atention is that a few users are afced with this.

I re upload the files again, and the same.. Some users havce this error. They re log and work okey.

OK, the next thing on Steve's list was to create a new style with no parent. Make it selectable by users and have them browse the site using this style (you can set it as a default in vboptions) and see if they still have the same problem.
