Yes and it has been running on my forum since that day with no problems.

Freddie,

I have been running the birthday email crontab daily, and it has been great. I noticed a while back (not even sure when, I wasn't paying attention at which upgrade this began) but, I started getting an error report from the crontab. I think something changed in vB functions.php Running vB 2.21

here's the error:
X-Powered-By: PHP/4.0.4pl1
Content-type: text/html

<br>
<b>Warning</b>: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /big/dom/xcurvemag/www/speak/birthday.php:2) in <b>/big/dom/xcurvemag/www/speak/admin/functions.php</b> on line <b>1490</b><br>

I think this is one of the most effective addons to vB...keeping folks coming back for more ... extending a warm welcome. Can you update it to match the current version of vB? Could ya, would ya? :rolleyes:

This would be excellent to update and not require a cronjob:D

I've used Freddies birthday greetings on my boards and my members love it. I altered it a bit and used it for a secondary event on our calendar and its a big hit as well.

Thank you Freddie!

I would love for the message board to email anyone who is registered but who after a week hasn't posted yet...just a friendly email. I can do it manually but there are many registrations to keep up with.

Thanks Freddie! Its a very good hack. :D

Kathy,

is the script sending you an error? I have used it for many months, but noticed lately that I am getting an error. It seems to be related to an upgrade to my vB. Freddie?

Is no-one else who uses this hack getting an error? Am I the only one? Please let me know and I'll start looking at the server config...
