Linked Signature Height

I want to prevent members from linking to images off server that are really tall. The most I see is that it's set to 100 in the usergroup permissions but this seems to have no effect so I'm assuming that's just for if they upload? What can I do about ones being linked to?

how? the on in there is set to a 100 and the persons sig is like 400
