How To....User Profiles
 

is there an option in vboptions to have user profiles set up like this

I think that it depends on your style.

Looks like your style has memberinfo heavily customized. The first pic you posted, barring the colors and images of course, is the default vB setup.

You could always import your existing style into a test style and revert the memberinfo template to default and see if that works for you.

Which style are you using? I really like how your user profile is set up and would love to be able to look at your style's templates to figure out how to replicate the same for my style.
